Summer has surely arrived..
30 June 2010 - 10:43
It's been hot, hot, hot here during the last days.
The horses prefers a lower temperature while we Swedes are thursting for sunrays and are trying to enjoy every minute of it. The winter is long here, and this one has not only been long, it has been extremly cold. I don't mind :-)

Well, enough said about the weather. I haven't found the cables yet, which means I have some pics in my camera, but they are kind of stuck there. I hope t get some pics soon so you can follow our little Precious. She is very popular here, everyone loves her temperament; calm, curious, well behaved and social. Infanta is super cool about everything and has really taken this foal-thing seriously but not too far. She is an excellent broad mare actually.

I have been riding Infanta a couple of times, bare back of course. I had totally unexperienced handlers walking Preciosa while I was riding. She is soo cool! Infanta doesn't care about trotting horses in full speed close to her, or the youngsters cantering and screaming after her. No, she just walks on, and so does Preciosa. It is very useful to have a cool mum!

Preciosa gets groomed and her hooves cleaned everytime I visit them. Just the walk (with headcollar and leadng rope) from the pastern to the stable and back again, is good training for a 2,5 months old filly. She's gonna be such a great mare, I canĀ“t wait to see her grow up!

Yesterday my 3-years old niece were walking the horses, grooming them and took a short ride at Infanta.. Super cool.. :-)

Well, as soon as I get hold at some pictures I will let you see them. Below you can see my focused niece grooming Preciosa.
