It is very difficult to know in advance how a foal is gong to look like when it's fully grown. Some people have a great eye for that, and these people are often highly successful.
I was told a long time ago that you can look at the foal when it's 3 days, 3 months and 3 years old to get a picture of how it will look like as an adult. There between it should not be allowed to be seen :-) Well, I suppose different breeds develop differently. Infanta has grown very nicely, without any ugly periods of up- and down growth as many faster growing horses has. I have a strong feeling that Preciosa will do the same.
Yesterday I had some help taking pics at Preciosa. Marianne, who owns Seglinge Gård, took some pics while I was holding mum and trying to get Preciosa to stand up straight. I think we succedeed! Pics by Marianne Sundén.
